Monoprints

While printmaking allows for editions and multiple originals, there's something nice about monoprints being unique. They can only me made once, and feel spontaneous and unadulterated. There is no need for planing or sketching and in the moment the composition reveals itself. The technique for these is simple: ink on plexiglass then run through a press.

Pumpkin October

Every season lends itself to some great colors: raw greens in spring, pristine white scenes in winter, bright summer days...Fall however is a whole nother story. It might have to do with my favorite colors being yellow orange and reds, but the fall palette is simply much richer than other seasons. Pumpkins, corn, and the fall harvest make for some great shots.
